:00. that will be ten days -- a ten- day limit that federal judge jackson gave last week. he ordered that justin wolfe be released because the commonwealth did not -- the commonwealth did not retry him soon enough, within a 120-day -- 120 days of when they were supposed to retry him. justin wolfe was convicted back in 2001 on murder for hire of the killing of danny petroli. he has spent the last 11 years on death row. then last year, that conviction and death sentence were thrown out. judge jackson found prosecutorial error. he said that the prosecution in the case had withheld very important evidence that would have helped justin wolfe and said that the man needed to be retried. that did not happen within the time frame and last week he ordered his release and today the judge agreed to release him. so that ten days is up tomorrow and he may be released tomorrow at 5:00. if a stay is not granted. that stay is requested right now by the attorney general ken cuccinelli in the fourth circuit court of appeals. we'll find out tomorrow. we'll stay on this case and we'll have more for you this evening. back

. it is at the intersection of jackson and santa clara. mike belts and is on the scene. >> you can see the water continuances bill and to the intersection. it is pulling in the crosswalk and creating a mess for crews out here this morning. they continue to try to close the valve here and turn the water off at the intersection. this began just after 330 this morning and crews are still trying to turn the water off. that should happen any minute now and they're doing that using a special tool. they're bringing it and how to use it to help force close the valve on the water main. that will determine help them determine whether and not the pipe burst or there is a problem with the valves. from there crews will come in and repair whatever problem it is. they hope that the water turned off the next couple of minutes when there is no telling when this intersection will reopen. >> it looks like traffic is flowing ok? >> they are worried as the morning progresses there will be a residual back up but there is a partial closure in all four directions. you can get through but it is down to one lane. >> congress has near

weather continues into the night. let's get to meteorologist ron jackson from ktfw fox 4 in dallas. tell us, ron, specifically what you know about mobile and what you know about what's happened in your area. >> well, jamie, here in the dallas-fort worth area we have officially had four tenths of an inch of snow on the ground. that's the first time we have had snow on the ground in 37 years here in the dallas-fort worth area. we are definitely not used to it. most of the snow fallen has moved off to the northeast. right now we are battling, biggest concern will be traffic problems. temperatures are expected to drop down low to mid 20's with streaks. we are not used to weather conditions like this where a lot of facilities have sand andg conditions for the roads, we just don't have that we do have some sand trucks but a big problem tonight will be the icy streets as temperatures drop down into the low 20's here in north texas. pretty unusual. >> all right. well we want to keep an eye as well on these twisters. thank you so much, ron for the situation where you are. but in mobile, alabama n

a teenager. a 16-year-old tarsha jackson was crossing the garrett avenue at first street nw when she was hit by a car friday night. was she was lying on the road, she was hit by a second vehicle. the driver of the car remained, but the suv driver kept going. she was rushed to the hospital but died of injuries over the weekend. investigators are speaking out about a bus crash in oregon that left nine tourists dead. this happened yesterday at a dangerous mountain pass on an already icy interstate. the driver of the bus lost control, skidded into a guardrail, and then plummeted down 100 foot embankment. the steep, with terrain made it very difficult to reach the survivors. >> there was so much snow on the ground that it made its treacherous. so we used a haul system to get the patients from the car site back up to the highway. >> there were returning to vancouver after a tour. the owner of the bus company has not commented yet. police in montgomery county have canceled their silver alert this known. they had been looking for 77- year-old mrs. tyler after she was last seen yesterday morning in g
